Contracted by Hawkins Construction, Modulink were awarded the $1.6m Joinery contract for the newly extended Christchurch Airport. The job consisted of manufacturing more than 60 check-in counters and joinery for different locations throughout the Airport. The contract included manufacturing and supplying all the public areas with seating, tables and internet tables.
The major challenges included delivering 8 metre, one piece tops and seating to the 1st level with Hiab Cranes, lift gear and teams of manpower.
