See below what our clients are saying about Modulink:
Contracted by Hawkins Construction, Modulink completed this very extensive, $2m joinery contract well ahead of time. Modulink supplied all of the joinery for the four stages of the project. Products supplied included tracking, corridor rails, shelving, reception counters and all of the fixed joinery items throughout the hospital. From the Primary Contractor: “We wish to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the dedication and professionalism which contributed to the successful completion of stages one to four of the Wairau Hospital Redevelopment Project… In particular, we were pleased with the progress that was made during the construction programme when faced with difficulties... The efforts made by you and your team helped to ensure that the delays to the programme were minimised.” Paul Brailey, Construction Manager, Hawkins Construction Ltd
Wairau Hospital | Blenheim
Contracted by Amalgamated Builders Limited, Modulink was tasked with the supply of over $1.2m of joinery including; fit-outs for the penthouses – kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, reception and concierge areas, bar interior fit-out and specialty finishes to customer service areas. This was an extensive job but comfortably managed by Modulink’s Project Management team. With regular variations to the contract and logistical issues to overcome, in particular delivery and installation in Queenstown in the middle of winter, Modulink worked closely with ABL’s staff to ensure joinery was installed on time and completed to Modulink’s impeccable quality standards. From the developer: “We have found their quality to be excellent and are very pleased with the result. Joinery is a critical item in any hotel, but in a 5-star hotel it is of paramount importance the quality and attention to detail is of an exceptionally high standard.” Steve Vaughan, Development Design Manager, Perron Group Limited
Sofitel Hotel | Queenstown
Contracted by Hawkins Construction, Modulink were engaged to supply and install all of the joinery and FF&E items with a total contract value exceeding $2.36m. This was a major fit-out of 513 rooms where Modulink manufactured and installed desks, wardrobes and wall units. Modulink also supplied the beds, drapes, furniture and appliances for this contract. A key challenge during the contract was lacquering all of the wood veneered joinery. To achieve this Modulink installed a new paint booth in the factory. The key to Modulink’s success on this project was having an experienced project manager to manage quality, delivery and installation – a challenging task given the number of rooms. From the Primary Contractor: “The 2-year project was completed 6 weeks ahead of programme and handed over to the client defect free. The outstanding success of this project is, in large measure, attributable to Modulink’s performance... Roger Syme, Managing Director, ensured all administrative and contractual matters were efficiently handled and maintained contact with me throughout the project to ensure customer satisfaction was maintained... and his co-operative management team also assisted the project with careful planning and quality finishes.” Bill Hewat, Project Manager
